Feed 5000 is an event that has brought hope and love to the north Denver area for many years. Each Thanksgiving season ThornCreek Church and Food for Hope come together to bring an entire Thanksgiving meal, including a turkey, to families that need a little help during this time of the year.

This has been an unprecedented year of difficulty, and many of our neighbors need the hope of a holiday meal more than ever.  We are planning on reducing volunteer numbers and taking every COVID-19 precaution, so that we can still deliver these meal boxes.  We will be assembling 1,800 boxes of food that include everything needed to prepare a full holiday dinner for a family of 4-6 people. Each box includes a turkey! These boxes will be distributed through the school districts we serve, as well as to community members who may need some extra love this holiday season. Help us give our neighbors the dignity of preparing a meal in their own home when they otherwise would go without.
